Cookies

A clear choice about essential cookies and simple site statistics.

Your cookie and statistics choice

Essential cookies keep booking secure. Simple site statistics help us improve the guest journey without advertising or cross-site tracking.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help websites work properly, improve security and remember session-related settings.

Essential cookies

Our short-lived session and security cookies keep forms, booking steps and account pages working safely. The preference cookie remembers your site-statistics choice. The one-time welcome cookie prevents the opening introduction from appearing on every visit.

Site statistics

Unless you choose Essential only, Pike House Escapes records a random session reference, the pages visited, a broad device type, the referring website and deliberately supplied campaign labels. We use this only to create aggregate statistics about which pages help guests and where booking journeys begin or finish.

These statistics do not store your IP address, full browser signature, advertising click identifier or inferred interests. Raw visit events are kept briefly, aggregated by day, and then removed under the owner-controlled retention setting.

Your choice

Choose Essential only at any time to object to site statistics and remove this session's unaggregated visit events. Essential cookies remain because booking and secure forms cannot work reliably without them.

No advertising trackers

We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site behavioural tracking or hidden search-term reconstruction.
